Dorper Lamb - High Quality Meat
Dorper lamb is naturally lower in fat than most lamb. Because dorper lamb does not carry wool or a heavy fleece, the meat does not have the strong flavor typically associated with imported lamb.
Dorper meat can be cooked in a variety of ways, from ribs, to rack of lamb, shoulder and rump – the texture and flavor is a delight. Please peruse our website for ideas on cooking and presentation of this fine meat.
The following dorper breeders are proud to offer dorper lamb available for consumption. Please contact these farms directly if you are in the market for high quality meat, and directions for purchase and selection of your favorite cuts.
